Third Day is a Christian rock band formed in Marietta, Georgia during the 1990s. The band was
founded by lead singer Mac Powell, guitarist Mark Lee and former member Billy Wilkins. Drummer
David Carr is a current band member. The band's name is a reference to the biblical accounts of
Jesus' rising from the dead on the third day following his crucifixion. The band was inducted in
the Georgia Music Hall of Fame on September 19, 2009. They have sold over 7 million albums in the
United States and had 28 number one radio hits. Their fans are known as "Gomers" after a song on
their second album about Gomer.
Caedmon's Call is a contemporary Christian band which fuses traditional folk with world music and
alternative rock. They are composed of Cliff Young (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Danielle Young
(vocals), Garett Buell (percussion), Jeff Miller (bass guitar), Todd Bragg (drums), and Josh Moore
(keyboard, accordion, harmonica).
